Why the name The Potter’s House? Our name comes from a part of the Bible in the book of Jeremiah. God told the prophet to go to the potter’s house to see now God symbolically works on our life. The Potter is God and we are the clay being shaped into something useful. Pretty cool! Ref: Jeremiah 18:1-4
Pastor Gunkel was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. While in the United States Marine Corps, he gave his life to God where he was radically changed. He has been married to his wife Allison for 31 years. They have two children and a grandchild on the way. Pastor Gunkel recently became the pastor of the Stafford Potter’s House after being a missionary in Brazil for seven years.

Yes, nursery is provide every service for children 4 and under.
Sunday School for school aged kids at 10:00am. Children’s church on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm.

Our church very welcoming, so expect to make friends. Church services last about an hour. We sing to open the service and then Pastor preaches for about 30 minutes.
